SPW Presents "Delivering the Goods" this Friday Night

On Friday night SPW will run a live event to raise money for Omar Nicolas and his family. Omar is a past wrestling promoter for New Brand Wrestling, and was based at the Ellice Theatre where this event will be held. Three weeks ago Omar was rushed to the hospital with life threatening chest pains, His son Stephen has been a patient at the Health Sciences Center for most of his life. Stephen is a quadriplegic. He is unable to speak. He's pictured here with former AWE wrestlers Kevin Thorne, Billy Gunn and Jesse Godderz.

Omar has done many things over the years to entertain Stephen, even donning a cape and a mask at times and appearing as The Masked Messenger. Why not drop by and say hi.

Who Is Hulk Hollywood?

At this Friday's SPW live event entitled "Delivering the Goods" people will get to see the one and only Hulk Hollywood! Although some might call him a tribute artist, he's much more than that. He has shared the card with the likes of Test and Albert of the WWE on a Tony Condello card and has toured northern Manitoba with the Canadian Wrestling Federation. Hulk Hollywood made the national news when he appeared at St Phillips Anglican Church in a 'Wrestling with God" youth outreach project. Here he is on the cover of the Winnipeg Sun. He also made the cover of the Toronto Sun when he lived out East. More news to come.

Say it ain't so! All signs point to Marc Merric as the next SPW Champion. As one of the few SPW holdovers from the Stardom owned SPW, Merric was able to defeat TJ Bratt and Rob Stardom HIMSELF in the last 6 months, and a tag team victory over Colt Cabana. Saturday's shocking upset victory over the sensational Scott Justice was the latest feather in the hat of young Merric. Less then a month ago he returned from the States after teaming up with none other than Harry Smith, son of the legendary British Bulldog! Who's next?
