Grassroots movements have always been a boon for independent pro wrestling companies looking to get the word out about their promotion and their talent roster. Never has there been a greater tool since word of mouth than social networking and social media services such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs. For small businesses it means instant access to a global market place for little to no overhead cost.
Steeltown Pro Wrestling is trying to create such a grassroots movement through word of mouth from our loyal fan base and through active implementation of social networking and media. SPW is asking you for your help in getting the word out all through the simple click of a button!
With hundreds of millions of members, there is no greater powerhouse than Facebook when it comes to social networking. The official SPW Facebook Group currently has a little more than 4700 members but our goal is to break 5000! After you’ve joined select the invite members link on the left hand side and invite your friends to join to! The SPW Facebook Group is full of news updates, event info and links to exclusive SPW content.
Twitter has become a global phenomenon in record time with a highly addictive and socially active concept. With more than 575 followers, SPW is looking to grow its list of followers and keep its fan base in the loop with up to the minute news updates.
