5th ANNUAL RED RIVER RUMBLE
AT THE SELKIRK WATERFRONT ON AUGUST 25
The 2011 Red River Rumble was attended by more than 500 people while an SPW attendance record was set in 2010 with over 700 fans surrounding the ringside area. SPW officials hope to shatter that record in 2012.
Every year SPW hosts the Red River Rumble match in the main event where every member of the SPW roster competes in an over-the-top-rope battle royal for an opportunity to become No.1 Contender and challenge for the SPW Heavyweight Championship. Past winners include current SPW Heavyweight Champion La Sombra (2011), “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom (2009) and two-time winner, former SPW Heavyweight Champion and Selkirk’s own Matt Fairlane (2008 and 2010).
This year the Red River Rumble will also feature special appearances by the Wild Women of SPW Mighty Midget and former WWE Superstar Robbie McAllister.
