By the end of the Red River Rumble Tour, Chip Fletcher claimed his third SPW Hardcore Championship by defeating Kevy Chevy in the Arborg main event on August 26th. In a hard fought battle, Fletcher took a beating from Chevy but kept fighting back until he was able to hit a massive DDT on a pile of chairs and trash can lids for the win.
The previous night in Selkirk, Kevy Chevy captured the SPW Hardcore Championship in a 6-way Hardcore Steeltown Showdown that saw the use of a variety of weapons including a bicycle! After seeing Chevy hoist the championship, Fletcher vowed that he would get it back the next night in his hometown of Arborg, a promise he kept.
