Lutte Life Blog: 3 Shows, 4 Days

I’ve been with SPW from the start.  Over the course of 92 SPW live events I’ve been on 89 of them and I count on being involved with several more.  This year has been one of the most aggressive schedules SPW has promoted since its inception with a series of double and triple shot on its first 4-show tour to celebrate its 4th anniversary.  Closing in on the 100th live event is a matter of when and it’s going to be sooner than later.  The trend continues this week as SPW promotes 3 live events over the course of 4 days.  Two of those events will feature WWE legend Honky Tonk Man, a man I wrestled this past March.

Disgruntled is a word that well describes my current state in SPW.  Since losing the SPW Provincial and AIWF Canadian Championships in April, I’ve struggled to regain my footing.  I’ve won some, I’ve lost some and I’ve travelled from one end of the country to the other in a rebid to restore former glory.  The opportunity to set things right present themselves on September 20th in Morden, Manitoba.

When it comes to the town of Morden, my opponent for September 20th is anything but a stranger, I’ve wrestled him at the Access Event Centre the last two times SPW has been there.  Since April 2012 Mike Mission has been SPW Provincial and AIWF Canadian Champion, he defeated me to earn those entitlements.  And since that time he’s proven to be a worthy champion, always bring the fight and successfully turning away a series of challengers.  Five months since his victory over me, we face again on September 20th in Morden, both championships on the line…winner take all.

On September 20th in Morden I stake my claims to both the SPW Provincial and AIWF Canadian Championships and I’ll bring them with me when SPW debuts on the Paddlewheel Queen on September 22nd.  Wrestling on a boat, I’ve never done that before and for that matter neither has anybody else.  It’s a pro wrestling first.  As we sail down the Red River, I’ll continue to re-establish myself by successfully defending both my newly won championships.  I’ll take them with me as SPW celebrates the memory of Kerry Brown the next night at the Casa Do Minho.

I’ll close out the weekend having worked on 92 of 95 SPW live events.  I’ll close out the weekend as the titlist to both the SPW Provicial and AIWF Canadian Championship.  I’ll close out the weekend having righted every wrong that has befallen me since April.

Three shows…four days…two championships.

Head my word, it is truth.
