3RD ANNUAL KERRY BROWN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
FEATURING WWE LEGEND HONKY TONK MAN
SELKIRK, MANITOBA (09/10/12) – Since 2010 Steeltown Pro Wrestling (SPW) has promoted the Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament in honour of the memory of “Pitbull” Kerry Brown who passed away at an early age in 2009. This year’s 3rd annual edition takes place on Sunday September 23rd at the Casa Do Minho Portuguese Centre at 1080 Wall Street Winnipeg , MB featuring WWE Legend and former WWF Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man.
Scheduled to appear along with the Honky Tonk Man is the one-night single elimination Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament, current SPW Heavyweight Champion and 2011 Kerry Brown Memorial Tournament Winner “Extreme Luchador” La Sombra, 2012 Red River Rumble Winner Jethro Hawg, SPW Provincial Champion “Misfit” Mike Mission, Sons of Anarchy (Billy Blaze & Big Cliff Corleone), MARIUS, SPW Tag Team Champion SYKO, “Aboriginal All-Star” Kevy Chevy, “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom, the Wild Women of SPW and more!
Past winners include Canadian wrestling legend and former SPW Heavyweight Champion Chi Chi Cruz (2010) and La Sombra (2011) who defeated former TNA X-Division Champion Johnny Devine and later went on to become SPW Heavyweight Champion.
