SPW News, Notes & Rumours (02/22/13)
-SPW TV made its broadcast debut Wednesday night at 10:30 PM on Shaw TV Winnipeg Channel 9, available on all Manitoba Shaw cable systems. SPW officials were excited for the debut episode and the production team are already hard at work making improvements to Episode 2 before it debuts next week.
-SPW officials noted that SPW TV: Episode 2 should feature a new opening introduction video along with new graphics and logos throughout the episode.
-SPW TV: Episode 1 is now available online on YouTube at: http://youtu.be/u6KVtDttfcU. Episode 1 featured a number of SteeltownPro Stars and the Wild Women of SPW as well as WWE Legend Honky Tonk Man and former WWE Superstar “Highlander” Robbie McAllister!

-SteeltownPro returns to the Access Event Centre in Morden, Manitoba on Friday March 8th featuring Pembina Valley’s own SPW Heavyweight Champion Jethro Hawg, Winkler’s own Sydney Manson, “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom, MARIUS and more.
-No major injuries to report.
-SteeltownPro returns to the BiFrost Community Centre in Arborg, Manitoba on Saturday March 23rd featuring a main event pitting Arborg’s own Chip Fletcher Vs “German Juggernaut” Moses Luke, SPW Heavyweight Champion Jethro Hawg, “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom, Butch Tolton, MARIUS and more.
-Along with its TV debut and 2 live events in March all roads lead to the SPW 5th Anniversary Show this April. The significance of this event can not be understated. There is talk of making the SPW 5th Anniversary Show an internet pay-per-view or a TV special that would air later in the year, possibly on The Fight Network.
-Speaking of TV, in the past 12 months SPW Provincial Champion MARIUS has been featured in an independent wrestling documentary, on Global TV Winnipeg’s Focus Manitoba, NACTV, Legend City Wrestling on NTV and SPW TV on Shaw TV Winnipeg.
-Since its re-launch in August 2012, SteeltownProWrestling.ca has had over 25,000 pageviews and has been viewed by people in Canada, United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, France, Ukraine, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Australia, Hong Kong and Sweden.
