-SPW staff is hard at work today doing post-production on the upcoming SPW TV show. Post-production of SPW is nearing completion. Expect an announcement in the next few weeks.
-Two main event matches have been confirmed for both the February 8th live event in Notre-Dame and February 9th in Arborg.
-SPW Heavyweight Champion Jethro Hawg is said to be more than ready to take on James Beaver and defend his prized championship.
-Several sponsors have been announced for SPW’s February 8th return to Notre-Dame.
-MARIUS will appear on Legend City Wrestling’s new TV series this week on NTV at 11:00 AM central time. Check your local listings for the right channel number and air time in your area.
-SPW returns to Morden, MB on Friday March 8th.
-Once the new SPW TV series hits the airwaves expect a lot of news and information regarding the SPW 5th Anniversary Show to be announced including locations, dates, special guests and matches.
-SPW President Dale Barnett was overheard talking on the phone about producing the SPW 5th Anniversary Show as a live internet pay-per-view.
-Legendary wrestler and promoter Ernie Rheault is said to be very excited to appear at SPW’s February 8th live event in Notre-Dame. Meanwhile Chip Fletcher has been preparing for a hard hitting match up with Moses Luke on February 9th in his hometown of Arborg.
-January has been a huge month for SteeltownProWrestling.ca with an increase in web traffic compared to November and December 2012.
- John Henry has neither confirmed nor denied that he was recently approached by a large wrestling promotion regarding a position in their corporate head office.
-Over the last few weeks SPW has been approached by several wrestlers from other areas inquiring about wrestling for SPW in 2013.
-Rob Stardom is increasingly irritated at his lack of SPW Heavyweight Championship opportunities and has been at odds with SPW President Dale Barnett since the beginning of 2013.
-SPW officials agree that SYKO is the most dominant tag team wrestler in SPW history.
-SPW was recently featured in the Treherne Times newspaper.
