Although the great Luchador was clearly the crowd's favourite, it would take more than passionate fans to overcome the British wrecking machine. El Dorado was in all his splendor for the match wearing one of his many colorful outfits. He would later say the one he chose for the show was to pay homage to Hulk Hogan by wearing his colors.

Sadly, after taking a terrible beating El Dorado was pinned by Beaver . Beaver had hoped to unmask El Dorado that night and although he came very close, the mask stayed on .After the pin, event staff rushed to ringside as El Dorado was carried from the ring and taken to the locker room.
